As I mentioned in a previous blog our former Governor, known as Eliot Spitzer, resigned as the Governor of New York because of his involvement with a "high class" escort service. When I was reading in my local newspaper about this whole event, I came across a few political cartoons that I found to be comical and very interesting. For example, this one I posted with this entry. This cartoon shows Spitzer as an ape (King Kong) falling off of the 
Empire State Building, with a pretty woman sitting on top of the building. My interpretation is that Spitzer was caught and lost "his grip" with his life. He lost his job, the trust of his family, and the trust of the entire nation. I just hope that in the future, our nation will get some true leaders that can lead the nation without getting caught up in the corruption of the society. I guess we will just have to wait until after the elections are over!... Can't wait to see what the future has instore for us and our nation..
